I was asked by London agency Governor Technology to design a radical makeover for the UK website of Alsace Wines. The previous iteration dated from 2009 and badly needed some attention to drag it kicking and screaming into the contemporary world of handheld devices.
Working closely with Governor, I developed the look and feel and generated an HTML prototype of the whole site. The final product was built on the Umbraco CMS platform.
The site focussed on the concept of promoting the region’s wine as complement to Asian cuisine — with recipes and a food and wine matching chart, as well as general information about wines and the region.
The website can be found at http://alsacewines.co.uk.
